Spent the morning with my dog exploring the mountain with the SxS, then my dad came up to break in a new AR build while my wife is in the cabin preparing a pre-thanksgiving dinner for us along with pumpkin pie for dessert. To me a day doesn't get much better than that.:)

New tires: LT265/70R17E Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws

    Insert Rant here:

From now on, this will likely be my very last set of falkens. I love the ones on my T4R, they're made in America. The MT01s I had on my truck were made in Thailand and they did alright. But these new AT3ws are made in China and the price on them just went up because of the change in production location. I priced them about 6 weeks ago at roughly $700 OTD, and Monday i paid $844 for these. Disgusted.

This happened to me before. I bought Hankook Dynapro ATMs because several people around me recommended them. Theirs were made in Korea. Mine ended up being made in China and would not hold a balance for shit. Ended up selling them for $200 after putting 20k on them and having had them balanced 3-4 times.

I'll stick with my USA made GY Duratracs. Well hopefully they're still made here because it's been a while since I bought a set.

FYI: Home Depot has Husky torque wrenches on sale. They’re usually ~$80 now ~$49

Damn! All 3 of my lifted yotas have duratracs and I planned to buy another set soon for my 4runner. They have always treated me good. Now I may have to start researching other USA made tires.
