Did 5-6 years of 12’s usually would do either a 36, 24, and then 48 they’ve got super wonky at one point between three ambulance squads. In 2015 I went to essentially bankers hours at the fire academy till I came back to the street side of things. Started out doing 4 -8’s then got bumped to 3 - 10’s, covid went to rotating 3 to 4 12s a week. Now we’re back to 3-10’s.

So far this has been my favorite shift set. With Saturday - Tuesday off.

Chalk up another weird ass call for Freaky Friday.

Weiner stuck in a ground hog hole.

Don’t worry. The dogs fine. Just cold and probably forever frightened of chain saws.

Thanks for the heads up regarding the guy on Rt. 23. Crazy, I just drove by there this afternoon and noticed the Blue Tacoma. Caught my eye because it is the very same color of my truck.

So it looks Iike the two week old water filter I installed has already bit the dust. They've been reworking the water lines in town the past couple months. Well they screwed them up and are having to completely do them over. That's fine and dandy, but they broke the one that goes to my street and all the mud got sucked up in there... Glad I had the filter, but there's no telling what it did to my pressure regulator. The county is likely going to get a nasty letter and bill from me...

I noticed this trend after the "quarantine" was lifted. During it the commute home was awesome, but now, ugh! Either people are too damn slow or are so far up your ass you can't see their headlights.

Question: You are in the left hand lane, somebody turns onto the road into the right hand lane. Do you:
A: Continue driving at normal speeds
    Or
B: Come to a stop with nobody in your lane or in front of you

because multiple different people in different locations seem to think you need to stop for no reason

Normally this would be a meh moment, but the story is a little surprising.
In May, I noticed a rogue tomato plant sprouting in the middle of a patch of Crocuses, and at the time I thought well, let's see how this goe,s with all the squirrels and chipmunks that roam 24/7.
Fast forward to August, where the plant had spread to cover roughly a 6ft x 6ft area, and a large number, probably 30 or 40, fruits could been seen under the foliage.
Since early September I've been getting an average of about a dozen keepers per week, and, while not sandwich tomatoes, being about the size of a plum, the flavor was good and mildly sweet, and the seed mass was low.
Since we are expecting 27F tonight, I decided to harvest in order to table ripen for sauce.
The plant is now 8ft x 8ft, and still flowering, but the sun is too low to allow the plant to warm quickly in the morning, and will probably not survive.
This is the frost harvest from this single plant. The ripe ones in the background were collected on Tuesday.
