Supposed to help keep fumes from escaping while pumping gas, so the Karens don't get cancer

 

We should try and guess each other's halloween costumes. If someone guesses it you do a shot

 

They recirculate the gas vapors back into the pump.. We've got em on 98% of the pumps up here in WA but they have an accordion style neck instead of that taper thing.. they won't pump up here unless the accordion is fully depressed

Used to see then in the 80s early 90s at DRMO auctions. St,Julien's Creek, Cheetham annex, NAB Norfolk. Guy here put 2 in a stripped fast attack gunboat with roller coaster seating for 30 passengers. Ran it out of Rudee Inlet VA. Beach 2 summers then retired. Charged $60 x 30 for 15 min.
