Thanks for the info man. So if I absolutely have to cmc for 285/70r17 could I step it up a notch and clear 295/70r17 with the cmc?

If you can find a decent one a295/70-17 is 33.5”. Vs the 285 at ~32.7. Depending on brand. I am sure if you don’t wheel it a lot you could run 295s with the CMC. I know there are guys running 35s but I am not sure what they are doing as far as fabrication- it’s out of my league. For sure you are going to to need to mod inner fender liner with a knife / heat gun / dremel.. I guess anything is possible if you are willing to do the homework and then mod to fit.

Well guys I just ordered my set up. King 2.5 rr non adjust extended front coil overs, king 2.5 modified tundra rr non adjust rear shocks and u bolt flip kit with bumps all from accutune offroad tuned with the adventure tune. Method 305nv 17x8.5 0mm offset in black wheels and bfg all terrain 285/70r17 load range c from tire rack. And my buddy that works at my local dealer hooked me up with icon delta joint tubular ucas and icon rxt multi rate leafs. Should receive everything next week besides the leafs which have a 5 week lead time and the shocks which have an 8 week lead time. Sucks I dropped a ton of cash and can't install for a few months but I guess this build will teach me patience lmfao.

Damn! All in look forward to seeing it when you are done . Are you doing install yourself? The UCA on the driver side is a PITA and probably the worst of the process. Let me know about your rear springs when they come in - I’m looking to upgrade back there- what load rate are they ?

Thanks man and I can't wait either. Glad to share the excitement with someone lol. All my buddies either aren't into overlanding/wheeling or are jeep guys haha. And yea me and a buddy will be doing the install at his garage with 4 post lift. I was once a fully certified ford mechanic (besides diesel because screw that) and state inspector before I starting driving big rigs so I feel confident with the install and yea I've heard the uca bolts are a PITA. From my impression I thought the icon rxt packs where "multi rate" which I thought was you add or subtract leafs to get the height/rate you want. But if I have to do a cmc my other buddy is a professional fabricator/welder and said that job for him would be a cake walk (thank God because you don't want a cut off wheel or welder out in my hands lmfao) I plan to install and see what happens before cmc and if I have to cmc then I will but I'm sure I will from all I've read. But thanks for all the insight bro seriously.

Should I start a build thread when I do the install? Plan on later after install doing front and rear bumpers, prinsu rack to replace shitty stock rack, winch, skids, all the goodies eventually

    For sure
    Always helpful
I hadn’t looked at ICON RXT springs until you mentioned them. Interesting that they come with an extra leaf - I’ll have to look into them
I have a fair amount of weight in the rear and want to add a swing out rear bumper - still trying to figure best route here ...
    thx.

Agreed! Had to chop the factory bolt at the front and replace it.
