    Never made it out the door this morning :oops:got up at 5 and my back was killing me again . Time to see I if I can get an injection (lumbar steroid) for pain . Was doing better until I sat in one of my ladder stands the other day with a sling seat . I hate them . Time to get rid of the 2 I have or have someone weld a permanent seat in them .

    I know it's taboo to shoot a doe this time of year but my deer sightings have been very limited. So, I had a doe and 2 fawns come in this morning and the fawns left unharmed. Doe down. Shot her with my trusty xbow.

    love it. ill have to save that meme.cant take too much credit. they have a stand on a ridge but too early in the season to go into it and not bump deer. so he sit along the corn field next ridge over. it came out on the path by the stand. @125yrds.we just tweeked his muzzleloader a little higher for just that kind of shot last week.the kid can shoot!!

    They look nice but not tall enough . The one ladder stand I do like that I have is 22’ to my feet . I’m pretty sure it’s a Field and Stream stand with an extension .Flip up metal seat and I bring my own cushion.

    he is headed here now to work it up. not cool enough to hang it.But first stop is my dad’s to show him. dad cant hunt anymore (86) but loves the two boys to stop by and show him. told him it will be the best 15 minutes of dads week. :thumbsup: he always offers them money to help mount it. they never take it.wont mount this one anyway. probably just do a skull mount.
