Does anyone know if the Wi-flash module coming out fully supports J2534 for Techstream like the tactrix?

    I can't say for sure, but I can't imagine why it wouldn't.

Yep, but hopefully the others are close behind. I’ll take every little bit of optimism I can find.

Is there a place on OVtune's website where they explain each tune? Finally got the tunepack, but I have to spend 4 "credits" to unlock just one out of like 30. Don't want to accidently unlock the wrong one.
Also as an aside, Am I reading into this the wrong way? I paid $300+ for the tacoma tune pack but still have to spend credits to unlock the tunes in the pack?

You spend 4 credits to unlock the ECU ID for the truck Other ECUs will be additional 4 credits. Then request the tune pack and you get all the tunes for that ECU ID that you can edit or keep like it is.

Interesting... I was interested in the WiFlash but got this response from Rafael on October 5th when I sent an email with a handful of questions:

Granted, now that I understand more of what I'm doing, I'm glad I don't have the WiFlash cable. I would have my concerns when flashing TSB's if that were the case. Changing settings with it would be no big deal though.

I remember speculating that there would also be USB, but was it ever confirmed? I've lost track of things here in the past month or two.

You can use as many of those tunes as you desire, for the specific ECU ID that you Unlocked. The spent credits unlokcked the specific ECU ID, and you sent that ID to OVT, so they provided you all the available tunes for that ID, all unlocked, editable and yours to use.

I believe you will want to understand the nomenclature, some of them may not be appropriate to your setup or preferences (gearing, tire size, octane).

    Have fun trying them out.

After some delays, our firmware on the Wi-Flash cables is now complete, and we are going to start prepping them for final testing and shipment.
    They are fully J2534 compatible.

vF Tuner has been updated, and new tables for all tacomas will be released soon.
We will be having a black friday sale, as everyone keeps asking about it.
