    How many with 2.5 or 3 inch lifts have installed a diff drop?

    I'm lifted and had a diff drop on for about 2 weeks. I measured the "1 inch" diff drop at the diff instead of the mounting bolts... It only dropped it about 3/8". Actually had worse vibration and a rhythmic grinding noise after I put the diff drop on.

    back to bone stock.
    i just took mine out..i have about 2.5" lift..no change with the diff drop except a tiny vibe disappeared when i took it out.

    I've heard diff drop is bad. I have 2.5" with no drop. I'm going to upgrade to 3" lift and dont plan on a diff drop.

    no issues on my truck. the angles went from "Straight" to "almost straight"

    It does less good than you think on the 05+ Tacomas and can cause vibrations, oiling issues on the pinion, and puts the differential mounts in harm's way.
