Had to let TACOMAWORLD know before I fully commit to purchasing.

Im thinking about ordering one of these http://bajabumpers.com/gallery/?album=2&photo=89 bumpers. I like the look alot and really want one. Shipping is $100. Bumper is $350 with 3 light mounts on top and Skid plate is $45. All together around about 495 bucks.

If you have heard of these bumpers before or anything let me know before I order.

Looks bad-ass to me. I'd paint the whole thing black though. You'd have to follow up with other mods before it looked like it belonged on your truck, lift / wheels / tires, etc. Might just look like you started with the wrong mod otherwise.

ur best bet is to talk to those in the desert and baja scene...

on a front bumper like that, unless your truck is completely caged, you want to keep it bolt on so that it collapses in the event of an accident...

if its welded to the frame of the truck, a sizeable impact will twist your frame beyond affordable repair... aside from that, if you do hit someone with your front end welded, that poor car you hit will have some major damage...

i know someone who sideswiped a car that ran a red light, and while his truck had zero damage, the red light runner's car was totalled and my friend ended up paying the price as the baja bumper was welded and did not collapse on impact...

Nice look, but consider you are affecting your aerodynamics which, in turn, will decrease your fuel economy. Personally, I would make the suspension and other mechanical mods to assure you like the ride and have sufficient funds to then deal with the appearance ... function before aesthetics.
