I just noticed in your nose down flex pic you have your bed cut open for a shock cage, looks like dual springs on those shocks? No more leafs in the rear?

Hi folks, I did some searching around the forums and on google, but the amount of information and nuanced setups (and opinions) are taking me down rabbit holes I don’t need to be in. My setup is straight forward... stock TRD Pro fox suspension.

Im carrying around 200-400 extra pounds of weight full time and occasionally towing a 17’ alumacraft fishing boat. I have some pretty noticeable rear sag, which is driving me nuts.

I’d like to retain my fox suspension. It is fantastic for my uses, but I want to bring that rear height back up. I’m also interested in throwing the Westcott spacers up front to help bring back and add a tiny bit of height to the front.

Can I simply swap my factory leafs with a set of RXTs to help bring back height? Will this have any negative effects on the rear fox shocks? Any pitfalls of combining RXT leafs with the westcott front spacers?

And please, no noise about buying a Pro and modifying the suspension blah blah blah. It’s my truck, I’ll do what I want, I can afford it. I’m looking for suspension related advice! Thanks, all!

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Doubt it... Leadtime on Fox to distributor is now being estimated at 6 months for coilovers. Not sure what it is on regular shocks.

Some vendors may have some stock on hand, but they wont be getting replinished any time soon.

Just got mine yesterday... waited 21 weeks.

What is your thought about running the upper control arm bolt the opposite (insert from back to front with nut on front) direction from OEM assembly?

Wondering if @AccuTune Offroad or anyone else can tell me what the full extension measurement is for the FOX-880-06-418 (2.5 RR DSC extended travel) when mounted to a 3rd gen truck at a 21" max measured preload?

    upload_2020-11-10_16-17-1.jpg

(Assumption would be this is the full extension measurement when the front tire is off the ground)

Would someone be able to provide the full extension measurement for the TRD Pro stock front Fox assembly when the front tire is off the ground?

This is a baseline for my planning on a 2021 TRD off-road Access Cab in completely stock configuration:
Front Driver (center hub to bottom fender) 21 1/4"
Rear Driver (center hub to bottom fender) 22 1/2"
Measured shock ride height, on the ground (center lower eyelet to top of top hat) 20 1/4"
Measured shock full extension, front tire off ground (center lower eyelet to top of top hat) 21-3/4"
Difference between ride height and full extension on front shock 1.5"
Max compressed front shock/spring assembly- unknown ??
Max front shock travel -- unknown??
Max rear droop from center of hub to fender lip 18"

No I do not own the FOX -418, nor do I have upper control arms. My 2021 is completely stock TRD off-road. I haven't done anything yet but rather am looking for some specs which I'm unable to find.

    sorry about the confusion...

I am looking for measurement of the FOX 880-06-418, specifically the full extension measurement (full droop) for the (2.5 RR DSC extended travel) when mounted to a 3rd gen truck at a 21" max measured preload (center of lower eyelet to top of top hat)?

Also am wondering what the full extension measurement (full droop) is for a TRD PRO stock front fox coil assembly at full droop (center of lower eyelet to top to top hat)?

The measurements I provided above in my initial post were the stock measurements of my 2021 TRD off-road that I just purchased that I will use as baseline prior to making suspension mods.

The fully extended length of that coilover is 22.48". That is fully extended whether it's on the truck or not.
