    I've posted a picture of it before actually. It's just a 8" 3/8 extension tied to a swiveling 3/8 tied to a shorty 3-4" 3/8 extension tied to a swiveling 5/8 Mac tools 3/8 socket. Easy peasy.

    Based on previous posts, I understand he has a PulleyBoys hub and is swapping from one of their pulleys to a Smoothflow...
    It's not a matter of smaller pulleys requiring a spacer. Whether or not you need one depends on the hub/pulley combo and how "deeply" the hub is seated.
