There finally here.........if you havent tried these your missing out.

How expensive are they? I just bought a set of the Bosch blades for $30, they look like the same thing.

They are just like the Bosch's, Rainx's among others.

As long as they are not the I-beam set up (traditional style olders) then they are good wipers.

I have a pair of rainx latitude not supposed to freeze they are nice.

The problem with the I-beam style is they leave those crappy pressure marks and they dont cover/conform to the whole windshield.

I'm heading into my first winter with the I-Beam style blades and am curious to see how they hold up. The Bosch and the Rain-X were the same price in the store so I flipped a coin and went with Bosch. Hopefully they perform well once the tempuratures drop and the snow starts falling!

 

I just got the Rainx lattitudes and guess what... they freeze up. Although I dont know if any wiper blade would not freeze up in MN winters.

 

My stock ones are awesome. That pressure point ting is all a bunch of BS! If you get them then you probably have a bad one.

 

they have it on my 2006 bmw330, pretty good wipers

 

i got some exlactly like those, i got them at autozone, they had them on sale for like buy one get one half off, came out to like 25 for the pair.
i liked them cuz they are those framless ones and they look like the ones on euro cars and stuff, plus they look nice from inside the cab. and it rains for 25%(if that) of the year so its no biggie as to it would be to u guys that live in those freezing states.

 

I was coming up on 3 years with my stock wipers before I finally changed them out. I couldn't believe they lasted that long, I was pretty impressed.

your stock ones have pressure points as well bud....see those little U shapes springs holding the rubber on? those are the point of the blade in which you will see there are gaps. with beam blades you dont have those gaps.

 

Ya. Thats all a bunch of BS. If they are made correctly (like the stock ones) they don't have "pressure points". Its all a bunch of hype to get people to spend $30 on a set of wipers that need to be replaced every year. i just spent $10 at the dealer to get new blades that work dam well. If you get streks then either 10 your wipers are dirty 2) wiper is bad or 3) your windshield is dirty.

These do not have pressure points because they conform to the windshield




Now not all the old wiper will have pressure points, its because each vehicles windshield is different.

Most newer vehicles are coming with the I-Beam set up


In previous post I called the old the the Ibeam which is my mistake the new ones that conform to the windshield are I-Beams.

 

IMO it's not hype I have had streaks and got the I-beam without changing anything and the I-beams do not streak.

Also the hype to spend 30$ a year is not correct either.

These wipers (I-Beams) are set up to last 2-4 years depending on what they go through. You should not have to buy a new pair every year.

 

Correct. I believe when I bought my truck they were the original blades (it was bough in 07 by previous owner) and I just now replaced them since I'm in colorado for a good part of the winter, but the originals ones worked fine.

Its not the set up of wipers that "make them last" its all in the material that the blade is made out of.

My brother had the Bosh I beam style on his altima. He said they were good, but they only lasted 1 year. So he switched back to the stock wipers (old style) and just goes to walmart every year for new blades. They work the same and only cost him $5-10 to replace.

I put the michelin ones on my moms mini-van (just to see how well they work) they were nothing to pay $15 a wiper for, plus they broke so the blade always wanted to slide out.

So with my experiences with these new style, they are NOT worth the money, just buy the cheapy refills that work just as good.

 

Yeah I understand everyone has different experiences mine are good so far. However about that one breaking I would have taken it back.

If your right and these only last a year then yes I probably will not get them again.
