I am pretty comfortable with this stuff but I have a question about AT Calibration ID. I see it referenced above as "04A60 updated to 04A61" when applying the TSB update. When I pulled the ECU IDs for my truck I got 896650401100 for my Transmission Calibration ID. My Engine cal ID looks more familiar, ending in 04B0100 so I expected the transmission cal ID to be similar format. Is there more to this?

04B0100 is 04b01 which is a super early 2016 calibration. Definitely upgrade to 04b04

Yes, I assumed that it was probably the factory calibration from original manufacture. I am more concerned about the transmission cal ID. Will flashing this file, for example, update both the Engine and the Transmission ECU software to the latest ECU ID 04B04 & 04A61?:

I think that maybe I do not understand how the Engine and Transmission ECU Cal ID's are related.

There isn’t a trans specific cal. Much of the trans is controlled by the ecu. 04b04 is the latest for your truck. 04a61 is a newer model year and incompatible.

Ah, so there is no separate transmission cal ID update file to flash? I don't know why/how I got the idea in my head that there was two ECU cal ID's to update per vehicle, one engine and one transmission. When I saw that the updated .CUW file for 2016-2018 AT trucks was 04B04 & 04A61, I thought that meant the 2016-2018 trucks had an Engine ECU ID of 04B04 and transmission ECU ID of 04A61 (if updated). I understand now that there are two different ECU ID's for different ECU's on MY2016-2018 based on what ECU they have in them, assuming that the later year(s) have the 04A61 cal ID (if updated). If I am wrong, hopefully someone will correct me.

@Shellshock thanks for the replies and getting me straightened out. Appreciate it!

Install the Tactrix drivers and select the Tactrix interface in the Setup menu.

I just double-checked the laptop I used to flash and that file is a match. I'm no TS expert though so I'm just assuming since you're '16 OR MT you should be g2g with that. It seemed to work for me, though, coming from 04B11 based on this post.
Remember to reset DTC and LV too.
