What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

There is zero issues with the cap falling out of a Gas Hole. In fact, they are a little tight if anything. I worked mine in with a bit of sand paper until the fit was the way that I wanted.
Besides, if you go for a different hanger, you would miss out on the opportunity to shove that cap in your Gas Hole every time you fill up.....

Did you do that with regular tint film?

 

Ran grounds throughout the bottom of the truck every 3-4 ft and to the transmission and starter plus added the ac drain extension during my extreme boredom of quarantining back this summer. Also added another small blue sea fuse block in the middle of the truck underneath to make runs easier for bed and back of the truck led lighting or other small low wattage add ons. I’ve probably spent as much on hood wiring tech flex and Tessa tape for the wiring as I have on my JL audio amps lol

 

I wouldn't stress not covering the positive battery terminal. Proper fusing, tight connections, wire routing, and good grounds are way higher on my list and I worked on auto electrical for 20 years.... That battery set up is my favorite that I have seen on this forum to date.

I can’t quite figure out why all this would be beneficial. Do you have some upgrades planned that will need some additional ground points?

Ive got many lights in the back and bed of the truck I’m getting ready to post. Maybe not necessary but grounds will never hurt anything when you’re running 1500 watts from an audio system and run a 1500w power inverter from time to time tailgating. The grounds help voltage drop

Hard to get a good shot but added a red arc tow pro elite trailer braking controller behind the kick panel

 

Added a blue sea switch panel in the bed of the truck. Dang wish the fasteners were waterproof. Lol time to put a little flat black on these things

 

Finally added some decent seat covers also! Love these things! Fit was tight but precise

 

I have gone to a local fastener shop and purchased several sizes of SS bolts and screws for my Taco. Every time I see a rusty fastener I replace it and everything I install I use SS.

Added spider trax 1.25” spacers and changed rotors and brake pads with power stop z36 heavy duty kit and caliper upgrade a few weeks ago and put some gorilla lugs in all four wheels

 

How improved is your braking power with the vented rotors?

 

To be honest with you the calipers made the biggest difference bc I added them after the fact. I didn’t really notice much a difference until adding the calipers with the brakes and rotors. Also last night trick or treating with kids riding in the back I did notice some minor squeaking already which I’m not too happy about. Braking is good but wouldn’t say it’s very noticeable with rotors slotted and drilled for me personally over the oem. Calipers did improve it quite a bit though
