i just found this monster thread

 

small taste of it last weekend here, earliest winter i can ever recall
all for maybe 2 inch (at best) of snow and temps in the low 20s for a couple days before it warmed back to the 40s
there are still white-crusted roads in spots a week later, waiting for rain to wash it down the drain but we are over 12" normal precipitation deficit for the year so FAT chance!

Here’s my girl! 203,000 miles, completely stock sans some Yoko Geo A/T’s and an ARE shell with bed setup for camping that folds out so 2 people can sleep back there. Runs perfectly, love these freaking trucks!!

 

At the time, it was a clamp on (door jamb) Rhino Rack. I forget the model #. I didn't like the fact that the bars gad to be in a fixed position and could potentially rub/mar the paint. I've since upgraded to a Rhino Rack ditch/track mounted rack system.

Reminds me I need to get out my snowblower. I didn't even use it last year, but have a strange feeling it won't be the case this year. I did drain the 2 year old gas out of it, which to my surprise didn't smell to hateful. Just dumped it in the truck as I like to live dangerously.

My friend gave it to me back in 2015 that had only seen a couple hours use from purchase in 2008. Needless to say the carb needed to be torn into, but still hasn't ran 100% right. Might be due for a cheap Amazon China Tecumseh carb. Started out on Tecumseh engines when I was a teen on an old Ariens blower. That thing was a beast, this Troy-built 26" will not even compare, but the price was right...

 

I won’t tell you the 3 or 4 stories about people doing that with old lawn more gas...

Oh I know. It wasn't too bad as I treated it with Stabil Marine back when it was fresh. Was only .75 of a gallon and some dumbass put 93 in the truck when he had a brain fart thinking he was driving the GTI. Oh wait, that was me...
