    wow i just read the greatest expedition thread i have ever seen! i read almost half then went to bed and couldnt sleep so i got up and finished it. it was a long read but well worth it in my opinion.

    im not sure on the rules of crossing forums or if this may be a repost but jeeze i just think it was so amazing! and if its a problem it can be moved or whatever

    anyways i think many of you will really love it so enjoy

    hahaha yeah i found it out of boredom on another site and i started avoiding work to finish it lol

    yeah i didnt even think about gas until halfway through and they needed it and i was like omg where you gonna get gas in africa lol

    jeeze it was a great read though and an amazing journey

    i had to stop and go home for the day at page 31. this is unbelievable. could you imagine having stories like that to tell when you're hanging out drinking with buddies?

    I've now killed two days at work reading this thing. I'm on page 50 (they just made it to Kikwit).

    I've been a lot of places (including the DRC), but this is incredible. I especially loved his protection as "a sense of humor and a smile. And failing that, a pair of quick legs!"
