Been searching for awhile and finally pulled the trigger a couple weeks ago. Found this one down in Yuma, AZ after looking all over the States (deterred by rust issues in midwest and east coast). Flew down and drove her back. Needs a little TLC; tires, couple dents etc. Has trouble shifting in 4lo so figure the problem is in the ADD on the transfer case. Will work all that out; has heater blower problem too. In the club now.

Welcome! You should have a good, rust free frame. How's the underside look?

My first truck had trouble with 4lo, till I got her used to it. Got to put it in 4lo ~1/month, keeps things lubed up.
Apparently same with lockers? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, mines a Sport, so don't know.

Frame and undercarriage is clean; previous owner barely used it offroad. I started out shifting into 4hi and 4lo as soon as I got home; shifts into 4hi ok but flashing light at 4lo.

Go like 50' reverse, forward in 4lo a couple times, greases shit up. Helped me. I do this monthly if I don't go wheeling.

Welcome to the Tacoma. I’m also a new owner. The blower should be an easy fix by replacing the resistor.

4lo you have to be stopped, and in neutral first
