    Actually he was still alive when I found him. Idk how though and I had to put another one in him. The shot was a tad back and when I gutted him I clipped very back lung and liver but he lived for 15 hours. When I quartered him up he had an odd smell in his front body portion so I only saved the back roasts and back straps. All of the blood was in him so I’m not sure if that was what was causing the smell or what but I didn’t risk it

    Well got out in the blind early this afternoon.

    Got the hell out of there after an hour and a half ,couldn’t hear and started getting a little foggy . It was like Chinese water torture in that thing . I went to the other end of the property and raked out my path to my rifle stand since all the leaves are down now .


    Oh yea ,I did find a very fresh scrape on the way in !
