haha dammit. Almost asleep and the power came back on at 2:30am. I had to spend time to shut off the generator and move all the plugs back to their spots on the wall.

It's going to be a fun day at work. scrap that. I changed my days to Tuesday, Thursday. Making the Pandemic work for me.

    Good Monday morning all,

Well, up date on the Daughter... Yesterday's test and tribulations showed that she mostly sustained bumps and bruises all over, the neck break is manageable with a neck brace not a halo, 12 weeks.. She's sore all over, the Dr's made her walk on her own and pee and they let her go home last night..

She's resting at home down stairs and not to go up stairs till the brace comes off, master bedroom in on ground floor, good thing..

Kids!! You marry them off and think they are adults! Never do kids get to far from Mom's heart, and during this time you can't run to them and take the pain away..

Everyone have a safe and wonderful day, 60 here this morning, high in low 70s maybe a 50 tonight up here in the country away from town.. No white stuff, ever, here on the coast, off shore water temps in the 80s still and we have a slight onshore breeze, keeps our temps up..

    RJ

Thank God and continued prayers. dad broke a bone in his neck a few yrs back in a fall. just the neck brace.its manageble.i had to go up and give him a shave and use pillows to support the neck when i took it off. doc showed me how to remove and apply it safely. quietly said a special one for her and Bill at church yesterday

When Glendale took over the area, we stopped having outages. Seems the squirrels were committing suicide on the power lines.

I think they changed the type of connectors on the poles or put the squirrels into counseling, not sure which but we haven't had an outage in 10 years.

The problem just north of you is all political. When the wind blows enough to move their topes a declaration will go out and they will shut down the power in my area. Even though our power is underground the main high power transmission lines going thru here to LA and Glendale remain active.

The huge fire that went thru here a few months ago was due to the power shutoff and some dumbass smoking his meat in high winds so it wouldn't go bad with the power outage. It burnt down a few houses in my tract.

We had multiple shutdowns while nearby areas with overhead power lines were left running.
