Jake, how do you parents feel about you taking the truck off the asphalt? And the list looked better before.

Sleeping bag wise if sleeping in a tent I'd buy a -20 degree mummy bag. I'm upgrading my sleeping bag. I was pretty chilly with my 20 degree sleeping bag and full hoody sweat shirt last weekend in ocotillo wells. Weather today in Plaster City, 73 High 29 Low, the dry air really chills the bones.

What brand sleeping bag is it? My 25 degree does pretty well. I use it for backpacking trips too and most of the time im just in boxers. Sometimes thermals.

    I've lost track
x2. I've had a 15 degree bag from REI for 5 years and it is plenty warm. I've taken it everywhere .. (Canada, Alaska, the Sierra's) and its done fine. I think if you're in the conditions to need a 15 degree bag, you're gonna want to spend the money for a good one. I was at superstition last week and a cheap 20 degree bag was warm enough. The big thing is that you're out of the wind.

Hell yeah I have a 10 degree bag and I am always toasty in it out in the desert on those cold nights! Also shoving them into a little bag is the best, no need to roll it up, I love it.
