Does anyone know of someone makes black edge trim for the drawers? I hate the chrome.
As an alternative, I was thinking door/fender edge trim or derping these.

Paint probably the best bet. Lot of YouTube videos showing HF cart mods, never noticed any pre-made product, but lot of guys sprayed them.

if it weren't for the lack of humor in the military these days, I'd so get one and put it on one of our work toolboxes

(we have someone who reported multiple people for "inappropriate" jokes, maybe pg-13 humor at worst)

Exchanged some things and grabbed some socket holders today. Got them placed in the box tonight:

I bought one of these lights a while back but never really used it much. When the last hurricane passed through our area, everyone in my house wanted that sucker. I went to HF today and bought eight more. You can’t beat them when on sale for $5. Seriously, it was well worth having. JS upload_2020-11-1_20-36-22.jpg

I used to have those trays. Depending on what brand sockets you have you might find some issues with the 1/4” sockets actually sitting down on the posts all the way. My Craftsman sockets wouldn’t fit.

Nice find. I used this guy at work for 5-6 months as a cheap beater, worked great. Cheap LED lights are awesome. I’ve used Milwaukee Rover LEDs for the past couple years, which are also excellent.

The little blue ones they always gave for free with purchase are awesome. Durable little bastards. Kept 5 of em in my storm shelter when I lived in OK and it made it look like daylight in there at night when we had to go hide from the naders

We kept about a dozen of the blue ones all around the house too but my wife and girls kept grabbing my Braun light so now they have their own. It seems like the blue ones would burn through batteries in a few hours. They liked the Braun light better b/c it can stand on end and angled to wherever they wanted.

I've gotten a ton of use out of this one from HF.
Surprisingly good quality. I've accidentally left it magnetized to the bottom of my truck before only to find it after driving 15 miles to work.
The battery is user replaceable too. Just takes standard 18650 batteries so you can have spares on deck for when it dies.
