I used to be a huge Camaro fan, I still like them actually. I could never quite afford a 1967-1969 so I randomly checked the local newspaper under the Ford section, saw a V8 manual transmission 66 and thought...hmm I could always buy that, learn a thing or two then flip it for a fixer upper Camaro. I bought it and fell in love, I ended buying a 2004 GT years ago too and put a full Griggs Racing chassis on it and R compound tires, man that thing was great in the mountains. I’ve got great plans for my 66 but first my wife and I are trying to egress California next year. After we get a house and space to take on the projects I want then I’ll get back into it. Plus my little guy will be old enough to remember helping dad work on some old POS so that’ll be cool.

Ironically the colors are Chevy colors, the blue is from their trucks about about 15 years ago and same for the pewter. The guy who painted it thought I was crazy but it ended up looking great!

Nice. I had an '02 GT as well. Full bolt-on car with Hi-Tech cams. Loved that car. Sold that with the Camaro to buy the Mustang..lol.
