What size tires can you run in a 2nd gen on 17's while running long travel. I have seen guys on here with long travel and 35's but I have been told that even 33's will rub the bulky ass frame up front. Or is it normal that everyone takes a plasma cutter and sawzall to it? I am talking about right behind the tire up front

People run both 285/70/17's as well as 315/70/17's. You can take a grinder to the cab mount and pound the pinch weld back for added clearance. Long travel will move the wheel forward slightly so you will have less rubbing than someone with a mid travel setup also.

LT front and rear with Glassworks fiberglass. BS on wheels is 4"

I have close-ups of each fenderwell so you can see the clearance with 35s.
