Need Help with the Tune for AMG on a 18 Model.
I've had issues with the Voltage going up and Down from 14.4 to 13.3 when i initially hit the breaks and slow down at either a stop sign or red light. Then after driving it for a while. I turn the truck on and get Check Charging System for a while if I don't Drive the Truck. But if i Drive it. It goes away in a few Minutes.
Anyone adjusted their Alternator for AMG on a 18 Model ?

its not the gas. I used the same gas in both tunes. I think it’s just the tip in being used at unnecessary times. It’s all good, I’m just going to flash to Moose’s previous tunes

I agree. I am a MT on 04B14 tunes and mpg has tanked, hard. I'm at 16 and the TSB got me 20.
I'm going to run the rest of the tank in the 2.0 tunes and perhaps one more to see if the fuel trims flatten out better. If not, I'm going back to the TSB till I can get a better handle on how to soften up the 2.0 tunes. Power is nice, but it's a truck, not a race car and taking a big hit on mpg is not a step forward IMHO.

I prefer ECT over gearlock. PapaRee and Mooseditty made one awhile back that seemed really good. It’s a tad bit less aggressive and still has ECT...I think

I’ve been running 2.0 premium thx 33”s stock gears since June and been overall very happy with it. Just not quite perfect. Decided to hit the ect button today. Wow. It was perfect. Not sure why I hadn’t tried that before. Throttle position, holding gears, acceleration and torque going up grades without shifting unnecessarily. Just wow.

@tonered has a thread for linear throttle edit for MTs. Suggest you check that out, you could start by making the map he adjusted less than linear early in the pedal travel.

If you miss-paste something, vF will add a row or column to the map without a value associated with it. Close the map without saving and try again.

So, when I am going over the air flow tables from your spreadsheet, I see something like this: Notice the tab I am in (bottom left) vs what is writing at the top left.

So do I paste the values in expected or control?

Good pickup. The tabs are in the correct order. The titles in the spreadsheet were wrong. I am updating the file attached to the thread.

Ok, when I paste the values under the control tab to the control map and expected tab to expected map, I do not get an error.... It seems that the tab name and vs what you wrote is backwards....?????:notsure:

    Control is a 25 x 18 matrix, so:
    upload_2020-11-2_8-53-31.jpg

    And Stock:
    upload_2020-9-17_18-3-9.jpg

    Expected is a 25 x 17 matrix, so:
    upload_2020-11-2_8-55-14.jpg

    Stock:
    upload_2020-9-17_18-4-3.jpg

    I hope this helps?

    @Mooseditty17 @PapaRee

Do you guys have a 91 octane tune that is NOT gearlock (still utilizes ECT) for 4.88s, 32's, and AGM? If not one with all those features, I can add the gearing, tire size and AGM. Having a little trouble tracking previous versions.

    Thanks

Here you go, Premium, no GL, utilizes ECT, stock gears, 33" tires, no AGM. You'll have to make your gear, tire size and AGM changes.

Does charging the tire size table actually do anything?
