It looks like I need to build a fog light wiring harness for my 2015 truck. I got the OEM switch which needs a plug to which leads can be fastened. Would anyone know the P/N for this or is it something standard / generic which I can get at NAPA?

Your Tacoma most likely has the connector taped up to the harness or stuck behind a switch blank...

Yes, your '15 6 lug should be prewired for fogs.

That would make my life much easier. How can I tell? I've crawled around under the truck and haven't seen any places that the fogs would plug into. Not sure what I'm looking for.

Is there an easy non destructive way to pop the blanks out or does that have to happen from behind them?

2 spot connector taped to the bumper and/or the harness on the interior outboard side below the headlamp.
Have you verified the small box attached to the main fuse/relay box in the engine for the required pins to the fog relay?
    Post a pic...

Crawled around looking. No wiring taped up or near the headlights and no box for the fog relay. I had a look at the dash, the only way to get to the back of the blank for the foglight switch is to do some disassembly so can't check that. I don't know if there is a way to pop these blanks from the front. The lower blanks that I can reach through via the lower fuze panel popout with a push. I'd use one of them except the factory OEM fog light switch is a little bigger. Somewhere on TW there are the instructions for the number of steps to get to the back of the foglight switch. I found them once, can't find right now. I don't think I have a factory installed wiring harness.

Don't mean to hi-jack but where did you buy the switch? Only OEM options I can find are over $100+ canadian - crazy for a switch!

Got it from McGeorge Toyota on line parts. I don't remember what I paid but it wasn't that kind of money.

Visited my local Toyota dealer. Looks like there is no simple plug for the OEM fog light switch. You need a plastic socket and then some proprietary pigtails which aren't cheap. I'll post the P/N's when I have them. Life was simpler and cheaper when you could buy the whole harness as a kit.

This is pretty cool, just a few bucks the terminals including postage. I don't see the exact same part number on the Corsa site. Closest that I see for 16 ga is 8240-4892; for 14, 8240-4942. Your advice?

I found the oem parts numbers from your drawing on the Toyota parts page. Looks like they add a bunch of dollars to the parts. Do you need the 90980-11090, which I take it is the socket that keeps it all together?

That is the connector that houses the terminals and attaches to the switch...

Didn't get to putting in the fogs before the weather became too cold to work in my unheated garage in Maine. I do have all the pieces now and figure to get to it in spring. I may be back for help if I need it.
