It feels good so far, I'm gonna feel it out for a bit and see. I got lifetime through Firestone so no rush. I really miss my 255s, I ran km2's as well. The 285 looks better but it's worse everywhere else. And I'm not impressed with the Wildpeaks either.

The instructions with my JBA uca's said shoot for around 3.5 so that's what I ran with and told my guy I wanted. He did say he couldn't get the passenger side any higher, at least with the toe and camber where I told him to aim for. We shall see how it does, it's already 10x better than the alignment I had with factory arms the last 5 years I know that.

I had Wildpeak MTs on my FJ and the got eaten up fast... I dont know if it was alignment issues, or what.

I hear that! Hopefully that guy sticks around for you, lifetime alignment with a guy that knows what he's doing is great..

I took the wildpeaks from runner back and they put ridge grapplers on. I really like them. My wild peaks failed in less than a month

I think mine are jacked from my previous alignment as well. I think he will stick around, he has been there 10.5 years. Kerley has used him and I got a handful of other recommendations from other connections that use him as well. Only bad part is he works at the shop in Alcoa and I live in Powell/Claxton.

Separation between the tread blocks and one had what they could only come up with was a slipped belt

That sucks. I'm disappointed in them for sure, even with this being an a/t my old km2s did better on the road. Unfortunately they still have a ton of tread so i'll keep rocking them for now. Coilovers are next on the list.

Made a rack for my camper shell this weekend.

Drilling out all the holes in the aluminum side rails made a hell of a mess, but overall a pretty easy thing to build. Used 3” x .25 aluminum for the side rails, though i think 4” would have looked better with the Victory cab rack, i have decided i like a little space under the bottom edge between the rack and the top of the camper shell. I have a short bed but used 7 cross bars and this thing is extra solid. While i was at it i finally got to reinforce the mounting rails i had added to the shell last spring by putting 1” unistrut on the under side.

i will need to shim the cab rack up in the back to match the new rear rack, as right now the back rack is about.25 inch higher.

Last Wednesday(day before Thanksgiving) went out to Nemo Tunnel area... That is an awesome little area! My step-son brought his 2000 Ranger, and my brother in law rode with me and his son rode with Ethan. It was the first time Ethan has been truly off-roading in his own truck. He has spent quite a bit of time as my spotter, so he knows what to do, but this was his first time for himself. I was so proud and happy to see him on some trails. I still cannot stop thinking about it. We have done quite a bit to his truck to get him ready for this: we replaced front and rear difs which upgraded him to 4.10 gears and factory rear limited slip, added 2 leafs in the rear, and torsion key lift up front, and replaced all his shocks and struts. He saved up his money and bought new 32" tires and 15" wheels this summer. For his birthday/Christmas present this month we bought him a new front bumper and winch, which we installed last Sunday. I guess I am a proud papa!

(Yes the lion's mane mushroom came home with me.. :D)

Just noticed the frame flex in one of these pics. The racks are now perfectly aligned from cab rack and canopy(cap) rack when on level ground...

Looks like about a half inch of flex. Wonder how the 270 degree awning I am looking at will do considering it requires 3 mounting points?

Test fit my new roof storage. Wont be mounting them till I need them, but I think they will be perfect. I wanted big enough I could fit backpacking sleeping bag, ground tent and backpacks, without having to unpack tent or bags. Also will be putting spares and some recovery gear. There weren't a lot of choices for deeper storage, without going crazy big. I had looked at roam and some of the pelican offerings, but these from Sportsmans guide were just the right size for my plan, and they ended up being about $120 each after coupon code and buying a temporary membership.
