The Rag Company does mystery boxes from time to time. They offer a Tier 1 and Tier 2. This one was Tier 2 for $100. I was pleased with the selection

I’ve been reading and getting ideas since I bought my truck in April, but this is my first time posting. So far I’ve added gray Carhartt seat covers and the Drop Stop between seas and console to keep the french fries from falling down there. For convenience, I added the glove box and console organizers I read about on here. I bought the AVS vent visors, but haven’t installed them yet. This past week, I had the front door glass tinted with ceramic, bought a horse stall mat & cut it to fit the bed, and started my rear seat delete & platform build. I’m gonna ride with it as is to see if I’m happy with it b4 I paint it. I used the factory hinges so I can still access the factory storage bins. I’m thinking I may add another level for more enclosed storage.

Right now I carry extra clothes in the coffee cans. The cans fit there perfectly and keep my clothes dry. I hike quite a bit and I’ve gotten soaked all the way to skin a few times. It’s nice to have dry spares of everything. Driving home a couple hours in wet underwear sucks. LOL

If you straightened out the ladder and made the bottom stand off longer and removable, maybe you could hang it inside the shell from the roof? With the top in the front. Or maybe that would make it easier to mount on top. Like your ideas a lot.

Well, it was a very disappointing weekend. I ordered a scooped hood from Revmoto that came in a couple weeks ago. When it arrived, I opened the box and checked for damage. It all looked good and was packaged very well. This last Thursday, they sent me an email reminding me to check for damage as there was only 3 days left to file a claim. (I just got home from work on Wednesday). I pulled it out of the box to clean and apply paint protection film prior to installation the next day. As I removed the protective foam blocks on the corners, I found this:

    94F7DAA1-DDD7-4409-B72D-C151249229CC.jpg

    A17D56F1-108D-4275-A855-6887DC4BC7B4.jpg

I replied to the email that I received just 90 minutes before asking me to check for damage and reported what I found. I received the following email today:

    “....
In cases such as yours, normally, the claim is automatically denied as the damage has been informed to us beyond the time frame allowed for us to file claim with shipper. However, your satisfaction is important for us and would like to help you as much as possible with the resolving the issue. We would like to request you to get a repair estimate from a local body shop. Once you have it, please send it over to us for review and see how we can assist you with the repair cost.
    ....”

While I understand the seller’s dilemma being beyond the time to make a claim with the shipper, this sucks. The damage was clearly hidden. With my work schedule, it will be several weeks before I could drag this hood to a body shop and get an estimate that they may or may not cover some portion of. So basically I have 2 options, I can pay even more money so that I can install a damaged and repaired part on my truck, or I can throw away several hundred dollars and just sell this pos for whatever I can get.

Seriously though, that really sucks. Hopefully they will take care of you beyond just a canned response. Good luck.

Thanks! I like them much better then stock
Nitto ridge grapplers 265/70r16 stock size. Load is listed as XL on nitto’s website with a weight at about 46lbs - I didn’t want to take the performance hit w the LT or the E load range.

I hear ya! That's why I asked. I was hoping they were the XL's so I could confirm what they look like. They look better than I was expecting. I am trying to decide on some new tires. I do not want E rated either.
