Thanks for the feedback. That is much appreciated.

Edit: I am leaning toward the Uptop rack. Just need to take care of a few other things first.

Personally I like the steel screws, but I've heard you can dip the screw heads in a high temp oil an then take a torch to them to turn them black. Might want to google it though I haven't tried it.

Ha ! I am vain but not that vain ! :)

I can live with steel screws if they are clearly the best option.

I'm now looking at both of these racks too? How well do they hold up after years of extreme weather?

Lead times on all racks are currently 6-8 weeks. Thanks to you all, order volume is through the roof and we are incredibly grateful, but we are struggling to keep up. We are shipping more racks every week as compared to the last but order volume is outpacing shipping.

I am a very happy owner of a upTOP alpha as will as the TRUSS bed rack. The accessories they have are all excellent and well thought out. We have tons of off road miles and it has been great the whole time. My only complaint on the alpha rack is that it is so low profile that on rough roads you can hear the load bars tapping on the roof.582FA8FC-9B10-4BEA-BEAD-45BE343B10BC.jpgE561E89D-C373-49EE-9BF6-FBE1F467B0D8.jpg

What awning do you guys recommend for a cab rack?? Do Not want to exceed the length of the rack, at least not by much.

Sorry to bump an old thread but didn't want to create a new one. I'm evaluating the Prinsu because with price match right now I can get it for $509 (though it sounds like shipping may still make it more expensive than the UpTop Bravo). That said, I was looking at accessory prices and it seems like all of the official UpTop accessories are 50-100% more than the Prinsu ones. For example, Prinsu Maxtrax mounts are $40 but UpTop's are $80. Prinsu's Hi-lift mount is $75 and UpTop's is $125.

I worry that if I were to get the Bravo that I would very quickly end up making up that difference in accessories alone. Do any of you have opinions on the quality of these accessories? I'm having a hard time justifying the increased price.

we use a standard extrusion that will accomodate both our accessories and most of the competition

Might want to look into a victory roof rack. I have one on my truck looks and feels much sturdier than the prinsu and you can get black hard wear.

I like the lightbar cutout without actually putting a lightbar in there. I think the regular air dam looks too bulky like a ramp.
