Mag mod rattle fix.

I just recently installed my maglight mod and the batteries in it are always rattling which drive me up a wall. This may have been thought of befor but i just tore a few cotton balls up took a cloths hanger and stuffed them on the sides of the battery. Works like a charm hope it helps.

mine do dont know why but if i shake it i rattles maybe that is a sign i need and alignment..lol ...

 

how big is your mag?

you would have some serious shaking going on...

This is a mod that i need to get around to doing...

 

Bass Pro Shop..Light and Mounts $32...the LED mag light is extreamly bright...just carry around some duct tape in case your headlights burn out and tape it to the hood it would work just as well

 

not sure i would mount mine on the door...id be too worried about it dropping out or something....

id rather put mine where it wont be moving as much or out in the open

 

wrap your batteries with a few wraps of electrical tape...tightens them right up

 

trust me it wont drop those mounts are almost to tight it hard to get off

 

Good idea on the cotton balls. I have mine mounted on the B pillar just under the seat belt. Not the most convenient place while driving but I can get to it if I need to. I have a 4D maglite and the batteries rattle.
