    Yeaaaaaap.

The Florida Patrolman basically came up to me and said I really don't care what your side of the story is I'm going to side with my brother in arms even if he's wrong.

    Caused USAA to drop me.

Speaking of, currently with Progressive, got any recommendations?

They don't have dash cams because they're just not required yet in the U.S., a lot of Euro countries require them, to include and inside at the driver cam, I hope it doesn't come to that but a front and rear cam is a definitely a worth while purchase.

I'd have three less at fault accidents off my record and still be with USAA with much lower premiums.

    :(

If you're curious the other two:

One was a city bus that merged without looking on an on ramp, I swerved didn't make contact but hit the marbles on the shoulder spun 540 went over a burm backwards and into a full retention pond, my James Bond Miata, went from sports car to airplane to submarine.

And the other was similar to the one posted but the cop was too dumb to comprehend my explanation and she cried so I got blamed, even though she came wide out of her turn lane and hit me in the side.

Again dashcam would have saved me.

I'm a good driver, but PEOPLE ON FLORIDA ARE IDIOTS.

Dash cams ain't for you, they're for them fuckers.

    That shit drives me nuts.

Been looking to go back to USAA, tbh.

I'm sure it benefits some company to not have them installed fro the factory...
Only time I'd want an inside the cabin one is if I drove Uber/Lyft.

    James Bond car

Once you get a dashcam, it seems nothing worth recording ever happens again. Until it does.

Damn, I'm not black listed per say, but last I talked to them they said I'd probably be good to go in 2025 of I can stay squeeky clean. :fingerscrossed:

Not worried about me, I don't speed and I don't drive aggressively, just fuckin Florida man. WTF. I need to move...

I have pictures of it with just the top foot or so of the windscreen sticking out, I'll have to find them later.

I dropped em a few years back because Allstate was cheaper for some reason.
Now I'm looking to go back because I was doing some research and I think they're cheaper than Allstate now.
Hopefully this crash doesn't fuck with my rates though.

I've heard to shop around every 6 months. Apparently they don't reward folks that stick around. I've been with State Farm for over a decade.

I was with USAA for about ten years, did some banking with them, had property and renters insurance and motorcycle ins with them and one totalled $4k and I got das boot. :smack:

They took care of me good during the incident but dropped it like it was hot at my next renewal.

Just waiting on 7am. Gonna run by the polling place and if it's not packed, get my vote in. I'm hoping I don't have to wake up early and go stand in line before work

I called Geico a couple months back and got my yearly lowered by $500. I have 3 cars trough them without incident and I’m a first responder. The biggest problem was my Porsche that I paid $22k for and they wanted to charge a premium for. All of my other vehicles cost more and the charge less. I won the argument

Yeah, I had Progressive for years before I moved to USAA. Progressive claimed I had a discount for being a loyal customer but USAA was still way cheaper.
I briefly banked with USAA before going to Navy Fed. Had renters/auto with them but dumped em a couple years ago when I got out. Also dumped Navy Fed once I paid my truck off. Still have CC through them and I'd probably do any future auto loans with them but their checking/savings APY are abysmal.

Fun fact/useless knowledge of the day.
GEICO stands for Government Employees Insurance Company.

I should probably take a night at work and shop around. I've gotta say, State Farm cut a check quick with the break-in......so there's that.
