Filled my doors with Woolwax a while back. Some is leaking out of the drain holes, but all of it is below the seals so no issues as of yet. I will definitely destroy door seals. I got some on the rubber trim between the cab and bed. It made it super wavy in spots.

Finally installed some steel skids. Full RCI kit with the flat transfer case skid.

How common are control arm skids?

Finished the lift, winch is sitting in the garage, have a CBI hidden winch mount coming tomorrow but don’t think I have the will power to do that this week. After that will be RCI skids and 285s and I’ll be done...

Zim, you could try a folding ladder. I know you’d love the challenge of fabbing one.
Here’s my steps that I had made, I know, I know I admit to not having the skills to make this

Yup, that's what I do. Seems to work well enough, maybe not elegant but works.

    Same... same...

And I still have 300 messages to go. So many mods left but I’m really trying to save for a set of wheels, tires, and a lift kit before I buy anything else! It’s hard... especially with so many cheaper mods :bananadead: :annoyed:

When I did mine I bought a 5x7. That way I was able to cover the entire bottom of the bed. Didn't cost much more.

Nice! I had those 16" wheels on my FJ. Those are my favorites. Is the offset the same as our Taco's?

Those are great. I love those side entry FWC's. Like I said to some others it's been a experiment. I'd really like a rolling ladder like a library..lol. Useless, but cool as hell. I've been obsessed since I was a kid with those.
    Thanks Sir.

Do you mean the red inserts? If so, those are factory.

I'm thinking it'll depend on how often you need the ladder. If pretty often, I might refabricate it to fit permanently between your two foldups, with a pivot at the midpoint (third rung) to keep it above the tire. If you only will use it occasionally, maybe flatten it to attach to the roof rack and have it hang down from the bar to the shell above your foldups.
