Installed the new Smitybilt Overlander Gen 2 XL on the bed, mounted to the @upTOPoverland Truss.

Overall, this camp truck project has taken around a year to get all of the pieces together. The last thing I have to install are the bed stiffeners that are laying in my back seat.

I forgot to ask, does the same thing happen with the AM/FM radio in the truck? It just occurred to me now. I'm at work but as soon as I get out tonight, I'm going to try and see.

Welp, now that Halloween is out of the way we can get on to the most wonderful time of the year.

also, been thinking about getting rid of some chrome, should I plastidip or debadge my Tacoma badges.

Redline struts. Super cool add on and so much nicer instead of bench pressing the hood each time.

Today with the Meso Ultimate Turn Signals installed. About 15 minutes start to finish and now you can actually see the signals during daylight-wonderful idea. These guys do nothing but great products. I’ve added their dome and map lights for constant daylight if needed and changed with the push start button as well. All easy and quick upgrades.

Finally the Tacos4Cheap TRD badge. An extra piece of bling.

    Minor stuff.
I tried the plastidip and was not happy with the results. Mine were black so I sanded them, primed them, painted them and then clear coated them. Took me a couple of days because I’m insane and like to let everything dry right. Here are the results.

I installed the R4T Lower Control Arm Skid Plates the other day - finally got a chance to get some pictures on the way back from a doctor's appointment. Easy install, well made and color-matched to the Pro skid plate.

And just a picture because I love this truck - my road home every day.

The Overland Gen 2 XL is a little.... BIG on the bed rack. But I wanted it so we could camp with the dog comfortably. The Truss has been GREAT. Only been on the truck a couple of weeks and I've had no less than 5 people ask who makes it. Looks amazing.
