Weekend? You're near Saco right? Its like 2 hours :p I'll keep you posted if I end up calling that trip off, but it would be Dec 26 - Jan 3 or so, so it would have to be able to be picked up then anyway.[/QUOTE]

yep, like I said makes it a easy weekend able, versus making it a dam long weekend

If your girlfriend won't do the 2 set method than these are definitely the tires to get!!! I do the 2 set method with these tires because

    1. She works very close by and only goes as far as she needs to in bad weather.
    2. I'm lazy sometimes! If I don't change out the tires as soon as the weather changes the tires don't get smoked.

The last set of these lasted 7-8 years and she drove on them through the summer once.

I know... it's on the list. It's an ass-ache to install because you have to drain a lot of coolant to make it happen. Parts are only like $100, install isn't overly difficult, just a mess.

Got a we don’t make them with the tubing anymore and shipping was not the problem.

I tried, I’ll keep looking, but so far that’s the one both the wife and I like.

Seen this one? I was considering it, still a maybe but unlikely since I will be doing a cab camping setup and will probably do a bed toolbox instead for storing my cooler and etc.

    Bitchin! Good luck.

I was impressed when I saw it. I think there's some posts that some people have done it with smaller RTTs in the short beds too. If I went with an RTT I would be doing this for sure. But, it's just me and 50/50 if the dog is with me, so I'm just going to work in the cab. it will cost me about $100, same as a decent ground tent. Just hope I don't have any passengers:spy:.... Hopefully I at least get the first version done by the holidays and can take it down south for a few nights to get some warmth in the winter for a few days! Also need to hunt some pelican/similar cases for storing my shite in the bed.

She definitely is the same as #1--work is 1.5 miles from home and she doesn't like driving in the snow so she avoids it unless she really has to go somewhere.

She may leave where she's working this summer. If she does, anywhere else she goes would probably be at least a half hour drive and they'd definitely be something to get at that point.

A guy I used to work with was complaining about his Michelins in the snow and how they weren't as good as his last set. I talked him into WRG3s and he loved them. He said it was like being on rails in a snowstorm. His only complaint was that they were a little louder than an all season and wore a little quicker, but in his words "well worth the trade off". He ended up buying Nokians for his wife's Subaru too.

@Skierrichy you have trail gear armor on your truck right? Mind if I get a few pictures of it? I've been looking at their sliders and rear bumper for a while now.

Ugh, don't tempt me. I love the little Atoms I have in my home office. It would be cool to have a set at work.

They are some of the best bookshelf speakers for the money and have been for years! Most experts would agree! Being able to buy them 25% off doesn't hurt either!!!

i know you are quite the audiophile so i do love my focal speakers, but been thinking about some sort of slim powered sub under the seat since all my rear storage is mostly taken up. any recomendations?

Mine are the original Atoms from the 90s. They're the only Paradigms I have but I've always been impressed by them. My living room is all Polk and the Paradigms come close to sounding as big as my Monitor 40s do. Considering the size difference, it's impressive.

Problem is, I don't need them. Right now I have these in my office at work and they're more than fine: https://www.klipsch.com/products/klipsch-promedia-2-1-thx-certified-computer-speaker
