Got a mismatched / two tone topper and truck? It's the best way!

Almost black, it’s magnetic gray with black Tacoma letters. My friend traded his Tacoma in so I only paid 700. I think I’ll keep it the two tone.

No pics on my phone, but my avatar is from 2018 and it hasn't changed. My plan for this was always to paint it gunmetal gray, then do the wheels the same color to tie it in. Cap is white, truck is silver. Don't like the look, but I like two-tone. Cap needs to be darker. Then when I get some good steel bumpers, those will also be gunmetal.

Gotcha, in the picture it looks like the vertical corner of the shell is the same color as your vehicle.. guess its the lighting or reflection.

I'll add mine, kinda like the contrast but it'll eventually get the bedliner treatment.

 

Bedliner will still have a bit of two tone at least! Nice shell

 

Thanks! It's a Leer 100XQ that I picked up for a good price. I'm hoping to kinda match the matte color of the fender flares.

I like my white on gray color scheme, if you look long enough you will find deals on craigslist like my $200 snugpro canopy.

 

My dad just got a white tundra and wants a shell but doesn't want to color match. Ive been trying to help him with different option . I was thinking grey, maybe a bit more light grey than yours but ill have to show him this pic. Nice truck and shell!

 

I really like how soft toppers are, brown or black usually. Always have a two tone.

Back in 1983 I had a Toyota PU in Terra Cotta and shells were limited to Gel Coat colors.
I chose an Almond Stockland shell and it worked great. Wish I had pictures.

 

Regular cab with a glasstite topper from a mid 80s S10. It "fits" and keeps contents secure, but doesn't do much for keeping water out, which is a darn shame because I think it looks great.
