for that area you might want to use a coarser grit sand paper to make the area more flush or even you a little bondo to make the area flush with the surrounding area

it was nice after I decided to check the weather before leaving the house. stood outside last night in shorts and a t-shirt for almost an hour in 55* weather :/

Ryan, that spacer thread is cracking me up......i thought about posting that i was happy with my spacers before i went to coilovers, but by the time i typed a response (similar to yours actually) the thread had gone too far downhill. go figure

I agree with you and Ryan on the spacers, 95% of the people that are bashing spacers idea of offroading is bumping there tire up on a curb in a parking lot. Its just to hard for them to understand that not everyone has or thinks its practical to spend $2000 on suspension. Ive upgraded mine from spacers to what I have now, but ive done it by buying individual parts for amazingly cheap prices. But to be honest I can hardly tell much of a difference between my new "good" setup and my old "shitty" spacer setup.

uhoh, ya done gone and angered the beast!

day to day, i see almost no difference between my spacers and my icons. even when doing normal trail riding, like yousaid, i can't tell.
only time i can tell a difference off road is on the hard hits, and going fast (over 40 fast).

it's just too easy to get self richeous on the internet.

and yeah, will, i did the same thing where i waited and waited until i got super cheap prices on all of my parts. i got 4 month old icons 2.5 front and 2.0 rear, with resis...oh yeah, and an AP u-bolt flip kit with timbren bump stops, shipped for $1200 :D:D:D:D:D:D

Ya you got a crazy deal, i spent around $1000 for my full lift, icons, Dakar leafpack, 5125's and all pro flip kit(the only thing I paid full price for). And I'm pretty sure you and I are the only ones that will say that about our suspensions because we didn't spend a ton of money on it and don't feel like we have to defend our purchases.

completely agree. it's the same way with my bumper. I love the all pro, i think it looks great, and it's plenty strong. however, i can admit that there are pleny of bumpers that will hold up waaaaay better in an impact or something else along those lines......then again, i only payed $500 for it, so it's the same as the suspension

btw, how are you liking the 5125s? I helped someone put on a set of the 5150s at a mod day in virginia, but i've never actually seen or ridden on a set of 5125s

They are nice, basicly the exact same thing as the 5100's but with slightly different valving and you can pick your own length. Kind of like the Icons, I cant really tell much of a difference between these and stock shocks besides the fact that they give me a ton of travel.
