Hey all, I just ordered the level 2 Fox kit with extended coilovers and LR UCAs. Does this kit need a diff drop and sway bar relocation kit?

The Fox coilovers should come with a sway bar relocation kit and yes, you'll need it. I have not need shims, diff, or carrier bearing drop kits to date. I did order a carrier bearing kit along with the lift just in case but have not needed it.

I bought these Foxs recently and am trying to order replacement parts for the bearings but am unsure which coilover it is exactly. Can anyone help me identify the exact model? It was on a 4wd 6 lug so I am guessing these but it doesn't have the double adjuster collar. Any help appreciated![IMG]

How much more did you have to adjust to get what you wanted?

I ended up preloading 5 turns which took it to 20 threads showing. Which still isnt much compared to some of the photos ive seen. Some people preload damn near to the bottom of the shock body bc they dont go with the right weight coil.

Cool, I see your running a bumper, were you able to get 2.5 of lift or so with these? Are you running 600lbs coils?

I forgot to measure off my old setup, and ive never measured mine now compared to oem. I was on the 4th clip out of 5 on the Bilstein 6112s which should have been around 2.5in. My truck has a lot of rake bc i run ome hd dakar leafs and I just kept adjusting by a turn or two untill I got the space in the wheel well looking right, and high enough for clearance. these are 34in tires.

I maybe should have gone up 100lb in coil especially if i want to keep a winch in the bumper. but I think just the bumper is fine on the lowest lb rated coil.

    These are this:

(From Fox Instructions for Race level shocks):

    * Some vehicle models may require removal of skid plate braces for installation of spacers for sway bar clearance. If there is a clearance issue between the sway bar and skid plate braces, install the (4) supplied spacers between the vehicle frame and braces as shown (Fig. 6), secure using the supplied longer bolts.

Yep - institutional knowledge. I just installed some new Fox Performance Elite COs -- was wondering the same thing.. and found the answer. For all future seekers... Taco fever never ends

Luckily didn't need them, and not positive they were supposed to be included in my "new" shocks box - which raises an eyebrow?
