Yep, that was a disappointment. I have a '92 with manual windows but the intermittent wipers. Bought a '15 base and was surprised to find 25 years later the wiper was more basic. An easy fix, but relieves your wallet $130

I have a ‘19 SR (base model), power everything, cruise control, even backup camera are included. Mine also has the “convenience package” which I think is just keyless entry (key fob). Still no intermittent wipers.

I don't know. I love my 2nd gen. Never had issues other than blowing the transmission after years of diving with 35in tires and off roading like there is no tomorrow. Still no leaks of any kind. 90k miles.

Make sure the truck has all the recalls done.

I have none of that fun stuff Yoda.

Not tried it but I would reckon you could do the stalk swap on a 3rd gen as well. Took 10 minutes on my 2nd gen and no wiring or nothing

Yeah it’s supposed to be easy on third gens as well, but I’m on this thread because I’m looking to “downgrade” to a a second gen.

Oh in that case, easy as pie. Could do it blindfolded almost.

I have a 2014 with 154000 km(96000 miles). I've owned it since new. I can tell you what problems/issues I've had. Squeaky throwout bearing, which I'll wait until I need a new clutch to deal with. Had to replace a serpentine belt idler pulley. Blower fan only works on high intermittently, needs a new resistor. Horn doesn't work on center, need to replace the clock spring. Nothing huge, but it hasn't been flawless either.
