Lift question - bilstein 5100 with stock coils?

Did you ever bump to the 5th notch?

 

I'm on the 5th setting on stock coils for over a year, no issues, no alignment issues, rides better now than with stock sport shocks. In fact j just did the same lift on my son's 18 dcsb.

 

I think your truck is not listed on the instruction warning. I have a 2017 TRD sport access cab 4x4. I cant run the 5th notch on that right? I just received my 5100 front and rear and deciding weather to do 4 notch with no aal or getting ome 885 with an aal

 

Run it on the 4th notch and a 1 inch rear block, 1/4 shim on the drivers side and it will be perfect. You don't need new coils. The Sport springs are a 700lbs spring which I think is the same as the with all sports.

 

Do you have any take on that .85 lift and 1/2 block??

 

What winch - bumper combo do you have? I was considering this and have similar suspension setup (4th notch)

I did the 5100s with stock coils and OME AAL in rear. The front sagged after a few months so I have a 2.25" rake. I do have a SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, and RCI aluminum skid triology so it's not exactly stock weight.

 

I’m planning on going next 1.1 on the front with stock coils and nothing o. The back, just want to make sure it will be level or little rake, hate the bro’ lean... I have no extra weight

 

You should be good. I'm replacing the fronts with the ToyTec aluma series Boos coilovers to get it leveled back out and handling the weight.

He has '21 TRD SPORT DCSB 6MT.

What does he need to get for Bilstein 5100 setup with Stock coils? His goal is to stay at Notch 2 which is 0.65". What about the rear? Does he need AAL or leave it alone?

There is about 1" difference between front and rear on the stock.
0.65" will bring close to a level.
If you go AAL, you need to select a higher setting
