Sorry man. As we said countless times on this thread already, we hate to increase the post requirements, but its necessary because we have had lots of newer people cause mayhem, intentionally or otherwise. This keeps things consistent and lessens the chances of someone being impossible to stalk.

One thing I hate in life is bureaucratic rigidity.

If @MartinDWhite has a four year history of joyous, festive participation in the TWSS, can’t the elves and @TWSS consider an exception to the rules (and endure the shitshow that’ll follow)?

Not sure if you've had a name that got a gift delivered and then didn't acknowledge receipt for many days, it's quite annoying.

Now that doesn’t sound like the joyous, festive participation I was advocating for :hattip:

Edit: I should add that should be cause for taking at least a year, maybe more, off from participation.

I am fine with the rule change. I just got caught up in the middle no-mans land between 50 and 400. Before next year I will up the posting I am doing to get to the 400 mark.

Hopefully every person who gets to participate will have a great time. I am still willing to be a backup santa, just let me know if it's needed.

I have five previous years of participation, four of the giftees wouldn't have met the requirements this year.

    • Last year's low count participant required a nudge from another member to post up.
    • 2018's low count participant took a picture of one of the boxes but never bothered to post a picture of the stuff inside.
    • 2017's low count participant was good.
    • 2016's low count participant took a few days to acknowledge receipt.
    • 2015's giftee was the only one who would have met the standards of this year's event and let the world know they were traveling during the event and wouldn't be home to acknowledge a gift but was quick to post upon return. And looking back I feel like I should send another gift to make up for the lightness of what I sent.

I’m gonna say this again... no exceptions.

I literally have to explain this to grown adults daily at work and the whiney entitlement I have to deal with is embarrassing. Not to say anyone is whining here yet. But the rules are the rules.

Oh there will be some mods all right
Your 2018 low count participant didn't bother to post pictures of the inside of the box because the box said box one of three when it was the only one that showed up and what was inside of the box was a clapped out limited slip that you tried to sell but no one would buy.

My friend, without trying to sound ungrateful, my hope and a prayer list was not a 180k miles toyota lsd. And I did post saying how hard it was waiting for the other two packages. We won't clog up this thread anymore, sorry I brought it up.

The rules are the rules. We'll see how this year plays out, but if we make exceptions for one, we have to make exceptions for all.
Shoot @TWSS a PM and we can get you signed up as a backup!

Unless I’m missing something my email shows all areas were filled out, 6 total questions, 6 total completed answers.

Most people that were deleted only gave a street address or missed a zip code. Just fill it out again. I’m not gonna research and try to figure out if there’s an undo button.
