I like it. Some black rims, a lift, and bigger tires would make that one helluva a sharp truck.

You may wish to monitor them for deterioration. Before I bought my Westin mat I looked at TSC stall mats, and the ones I saw crumbled when I picked up a corner. Maybe I just gravitated to the cheap ones.

Also made a simple water tank to clean things at camp. It’s made out of a stainless weed sprayer.

Not switching batteries. Take a spare 12v battery, a normal truck battery, or even a cordless battery that is 12-14v and hook up your + & - radio leads to just that. That will isolate the power source and make certain that it is not radiated noise.

I went to 3 Tractor Supply Company’s and called the local Rural King. None of them had a 4’ x 6’. I ended up finding it at a local non-chain feed store.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I never really shopped online for clothes until recently. I've learned to only order brands I know until I try them on someplace. I mean, which 36-37 sleeve length is it?

Review: Direct Fit Magnetic Phone Mount by Course Motorsports

I received an opportunity to try out a new phone mount for my Taco was requested to install this new mount and write a review on it. The mount arrived pretty quickly, so once it’s ordered, there is not much of a wait. It’s important to watch the video, it is very easy to follow and understand. As I watched the video, I thought initially, that it would be a process, as I am trigger shy about removing panels and such, but I soon realized that this mount can really be installed in less than 5 minutes. The package includes a rectangle steel piece and a round steel piece for attachment to the phone. I opted for the rectangle piece, as it has more surface area, but I don’t know how much difference it would really make.

The mount design is really nice, and there was absolutely no drilling at all. Per the instructions (video), all that is required is to pop off the vent trim, remove the (4) radio 10mm bolts, slide the pre bent (the fit was precise) mount under the top left radio tab and reinstall the bolts. To be honest, I didn’t pull all 4 bolts, I undid only the left 2, and it was plenty loose enough to position the mount in behind the tab and reinstall the bolts. The only thing left is to snap the trim back on and installation is complete. Overall, it’s a solid fitting, stable setup. I screwed the little round ball onto the mount threads, slipped on the lock ring and tightened it down.

If there is a down side at all to this, it is my choice of cases. Not a gig on the mount, but I use a Otterbox Defender case. I applied the rectangular metal piece on the outside of the case. In this configuration, my Samsung wireless charger no longer works with the metal on it, but I’m not hung up on that. I installed last night, so my only real use thus far was the drive into work this morning. It sat on the mount very solidly, didn’t slip at all as far as I can tell. The only thing visibly blocked with my phone mounted (Samsung Galaxy S20) was the extreme top left of the HUD, but not bothered by it at all.

Will continue to use it and will report back with any other observations. Thanks to Course Motorsports and @RivetNutBob for the opportunity to test this product.

Yes, offers went out via PM. I declined only because if I had my phone mounted like that, I’d probably be reading TacomaWorld while driving. My belt length is inversely proportional to my self control. I’m not proud of the facts, but I represent them truthfully.

Checked out their site - I did not expect it to be that affordable. Excited to hear your thoughts once it arrives.

Looks like a nice solution. Do you know what the diameter of the metal ball on the mount is? Wondering if it could be used with other holders than that magnetic one.

Can't say for sure, I will have to look and see if I can find my fancy tool used to measure, if I even still have it. I'll check after work.

Eight feet is enough, would leave enough for a service loop, enough to allow for full flex in the suspension. Five feet is too short I learned from experience.

I know another Trd pro grill knock off but I absolutely love it and I’m slowly learning how to work on shit on my own.

1 hour project took me 3 but that’s how it goes sometimes
