@Pugga ram is close to ford these days and way more comfy. Take a hard look when you switch trucks again in 6 months :boink:

I want to retire in Montana. Maybe move there if we ever sold out the business younger. Only place in the world I’ve ever been that screams me to stay.

js312: there is a ford truck down the road from me for sale like the one shown when you go to start your ford video. I hate to say it but they have the hood up and they are looking under the hood every time I drive by with my Tacoma.:mudding:

I need that sourdough starter recipe if it's easy. I love sourdough! Last time I tried to make it, it wasn't a pretty sight. I am from northern CA and know what Real sourdough is supposed to taste like. I have found some decent sourdough at Hannafords and Price Chopper bakeries.

I agree with you, however I feel that this is and will always be legally acceptable:

The EPA has killed the modern diesel, and I do agree that if we eliminated half the shit they're requiring and instead institute responsible tunes where you have a healthy fuel/air mixture for power and less smoke, the world would be a much happier place.

Not to mention, diesel fumes/smoke are much better for everyone than gas emissions.
In my case, I have the extra fuel, I just need to up my boost to accommodate it, and then see how long it takes for my 4R100 to gain some extra neutrals. :burnrubber:
    x2 on that.

I laughed way too hard at that. PERFECT gif selection

I don't think they have that in the super duty and that makes me really sad.

I thought they did. A guy at work has a '19 F-250 and he mentioned he likes that about it.

It's like a mansion. Definitely better for my dog, however, its the width that would need to work for me to sleep back there. I can go at a bit of an angle but if there's just not enough space, then it doesn't matter. Will definitely be looking with my next vehicle though. An SUV is better but I want to have the box. So, I'm sort of digging my own hole there and restricting myself.

You can fix it now but then come inspection time they'll fail you. Especially by the time I would be in one, there's no way they'll let a deleted diesel pass state inspection. I would have to move to CT....:puke:

besides, it would be more of a want than any sort of "need" for me, so it's more expensive and a PITA with modern emissions crap. I would fit well in a hybrid, I'll accept my trok needs. Ford just didn't do a good job of it for the 21.

    :stirthepot:

Nah, Montana would be nice but I'd be a snowbird for sure. People just spend all summer preparing for the winter. And then they spend all winter just trying to survive the winter. And then the start it again in the spring, cleaning up after the winter and then preparing for the next winter.

Bring on the Rum Runners and Mojito's on south beach, baby! That's my sort of retirement.

One more reason not to get one for my next trok :p

BUT I need to get some honey do stuff done and then hopefully by sometime next week or the week after I'll have a chance to tear into the tacoma and get the sleeping platform set up. The way I see it, it'll be a lot cheaper than a RTT, and less hassle. Won't have to air it out every weekend, no set up, etc. Just need to find a place and way to store....a seat....o_O

Over a certain GVW, you don't have emissions. They basically check the truck for safety, make sure there is no CEL, and slap a sticker on it. It's the most ass-backwards set of laws. TECHNICALLY, they're supposed to make sure the DPF torpedo is in place, but some places let it slide. I've seen dudes take an older DPF, cut it in half, then hollow it out and weld it around straight pipe. It APPEARS as though it is there and the computer says it's working because the tune shuts the CEL off. Win-win!

I'm a one holiday at a time kind of guy. I'll start doing Christmas decorations after Thanksgiving is over and keep it up until New Years.

Yes, I am a psychologist that likes to bring cheer to people's lives. Even if it is a smile on the highway. I agree with the "one holiday at a time" type of thing. I am that guy myself. But I figure that this is better than a damn plastic turkey on the other end of my snorkel intake. I am looking for a series of things to put on my snorkel through out the year. Pumpkin for october, rabbit ears for easter, and so forth.

    Exactly!
They're actually more comfy and ride better. Their base equipment package is better than both Ford's and GM's also. I'm just not on board with owning one due to their history. I'd consider the Cummins, it's more fuel efficient than my Powerstroke and puts out similar power numbers but I do like Ford's cabin a little better.
Ahem... The Super Duty has the same cabin as the 150. It has the flat floor. I know someone who has one...
