I love my mount! Ordered back in July received faster than expected. I used a sharpie to make the silver part black but overall this is one of my favorite things I have added to my truck.

 

Just to be clear, the ball that’s included with this kit will fit any 1” ram ball mount?

 

Yes, RAM and other companies all use the 1" ball standard, theres other smaller or bigger sizes for different applications but if you see something uses a 1" ball, its compatible.

 

Sorry for reaching back a year+ here... Just wondering what you have mounted on the left hand side and if that long arm vibrates.

What phone mount is this where it only has one holding tab at the bottom of the phone? Also the DMM mount is out of stock on your website...... was wanting to place an order so wondering on timeframe to have them back in stock.

 

I think it is a magnetic mount. The thing on the bottom is the charging cable.

 

Power option. Got a grommet from Home Depot and a coiled usb charging cable. Drilled a hole big enough for the lightening connector in one of the switch blanks. Routed it behind the head unit works perfect. I just plug it into the existing USB port.

 

Any idea when these can be ordered again, looks like out of stock......

Yep I placed and order and received it. I was the guy you accidentally shipped to me twice. I sent the duplicate order back and also I returned the phone holder so I need the $25 credit for that. I sent an email but haven't heard anything back.......

I went to do this today. I removed the plastic from the DMM cable notches with a file but I'm not too sure what needs removing to fish the cable from the usb port at the bottom of the dash, upstairs?
