The code still works, but it’s not 20% off anymore, it’s now 15%. Still a good discount. You should call them and tell them you forgot to put in the code.

I feel exactly the same way. Wilwood didn’t even send any anti rattle springs for the kit and i called them and they don’t even offer them. Sadly they are the only ones who make it for a Ram 3500 though

Thanks for the feedback. I've been looking to upgrade and have been teetering between wilwood and stoptech.

Wilwood is lighter? So less rotational mass. That's what I've got so far between the two... Any other key areas I should research?

Im not sure if the wilwood kit has a lot of options for pads so that’s something to look into also

Are we talking about calipers? If so, I dont think they fall under rotational mass. They are stationary and dont rotate. So even if the wilwoods calipers are lighter, its not going to make much difference.

.....unlike ltw racing wheels or brake rotors, etc. Which will totally affect rotational mass and such.

Oops sorry I didn't mean to say rotational mass. I've been looking at SCS wheels with their 17x9 vs my 17x8.5.. I'm kind of weight conscious. Not sure where I read, but I remember seeing Wilwood calipers were lighter than Stoptech. Still, I'm leaning towards Stoptech; haven't heard anything bad about them.

There's a Wilwood thread discussing their BBK can be optioned with 'dust seal'... supposedly it's great to have in high dust environments like off road. Is this a big deal or meh?

Dust seal on the actual pistons? If so yea if it’s a daily driver you would want that
Im pretty sure I saw them on my stoptechs when I saw them

For those that have this installed, does the kit come with the hardware needed to get rid of the banjo connection? I did add the stainless +3” inch lines to my order.

You linked a blog which is for a first gen going to first gen tundra brakes which second and third gens already have the same brakes as the first gen tundra. When your kit comes in it will be pretty self explanatory on the install. It’s super easy

Question for those of you that purchased a BBK. How are you liking it? Might purchase a kit this month if the price is right

I like it. Since I’m on 35’s you can very easily cook the brakes. Just don’t expect something completely game changing as in your day to day driving will probably be similar except for maybe pedal feel

I've had it on the truck for almost 2 years now both with 33s and 35s now but truck has always been overweight and I'd highly recommend it. Its definitely not game changing like he said but it does give you confidence that you'll be able to stop on pavement as well as not cook the brakes on a long decent.

Edit: just checked and I installed the brakes December 2018 not 2019.

Would you say pads have longer life? I have felt the trucks brakes get hot a few times on long trips but not enough to have me to worried. Just got thinking of options Incase a sale pops up Haha
