Definitely noticeable if you just pull the seats and put it in. I’ve put in sound deadening and now it’s as quiet or more so than with the seats in.

I have the complete kit on my DCSB. That ran a thousand bucks. The space it created is worth??? To me, I wondered why I had not done it sooner, so much hauling capacity. Good quality. You will have to wait a month or so to get the order filled. I put sound deadening material I bought on E-bay on back side of Goose panels AND on cab of truck. This worked well, no major noise issues. I just ordered the kit for my FJ Cruiser. Someone with woodworking skills could do it, but that's not me. It looks professional when done and have had a lot of compliments. Been in use for the better part of this year now. Holding up well. I see another member posted picture, so no need to see another.

I swapped mine out with the Goose Gear rear seat delete and the factory access cab utility panel. I love it, pricey yes, lots of storage capacity. Sorry for the shitty pics.29245533-CD58-449C-BC51-37DC1AE0AE04.jpgBE8C16F7-D4D5-49E5-8F4B-5696B4A562B1.jpg

I made a very rough version of the Goose Gear seat delete not too long ago. I was in a hurry to get it done so it's still a little rough, but I will most likely remake it down the road and clean up some things.

That’s nice, all you need to do is rattle can some black bed liner on it. That’s what the Goose Gear stuff is. To be clear, their stuff is very high quality.

I've had the 40% delete kit side for awhile. I had one of the first ones, and there was some minor fitting issues that have since been addressed (that were at fault of Toyota for manufacturing tolerances/changes). I love it, and I bought it solely to fit the massive Snomaster TR82D behind my seat. I've had it about a year, and it's been great. I ordered the 60% delete side last month and that should be here in a couple weeks.

Yes, it's expensive and I wont lie about that. However, I value the ton of R&D time that went into making these the slimmest design possible to maximize interior space. I don't think I'd ever purchase the drawers, as the price for those is just way too much even though the fit and finish are really really nice. I'm just planning to use the space to tie down gear boxes and what not in the passenger area.

There is a bit more noise for sure, but when the 60% delete side comes in I plan to remove the other side and sound deaden the back wall and floor space.

Yeah that's my plan. Also going to sew up some pads that can be attached with some velcro so the pup has some cushioning back there. My girlfriend has a bunch of scrap memory foam lying around from projects she's worked on.

I use Milwaukee Packout panels in back to keep things in place.

    Well said. Also this:

Making templates can be time-intensive, also making one-offs, even if you're good with tools. If you make $50 an hour and you spend just one saturday building something like this, it's a wash. If you get paid more than $50 an hour or it took more than one day or you didn't factor time to source, purchase and pick up materials, it's cheaper to buy the manufactured product.

    Yup. Mines quiet

I’ve got a noico 80 mil layer and a 150 mil layer from the rear seats to the rear window. Then those same two layers on the back side of the delete.

I originally just had from the bins up to the rear window.

then did from the rear seats up to the rear window and back side of both parts of the seat delete. Definitely made a difference.

Light. Quick. Adjustable. NO storage space sacrificed. YOU DECIDE, then change at will, the height (and width) of the storage shelf, AND the storage space below the shelf. This, for sleeping diagonally inside the cab, with a window AC on a shelf in the back under the shell, blowing cold air into the cab.

Gen2 but I've got the AC. I like it. I also added the molle rear wall. It's a lot louder with both but I've added some deadening and I've got more to go.
