Sad pupper. He broke his toe last night in the yard so took him to the vet today. He gets to wear this splint for 6 weeks.

Poor Tony. Didn't expect a splint that big. Zoomies are a dangerous thing!

Yeah me neither, it’s freaking huge. He’s hobbling around the house like a pirate now, thunking about.

One of her feeble sessions, but non-owners will get the idea.

Hopefully, Tony is out of that thing soon. Or maybe get him an eye patch. Shame Halloween has gone by.

I ended up building him a handicap ramp to help with the stairs. He couldn’t make it up and I had to carry him, and I don’t want to make this a regular thing for the next month.

It worked too. He was then not wanting to eat, so I focused a lot of energy on getting him to eat something. I ended up running to the store for some chicken breast so I could boil it for him. That did the trick.

Welcome to my world. Is he on pain meds? Fancy loses her appetite when she has to take pain pills.

He’s on carprofeun and gabapentin (no idea if spelled correctly). He’s been on both before with no issues. He also got his flu shot and bordetella, as well as some opiod shot into his foot to help with pain. So he’s all sorts of hopped up right now.

He's all hopped up on Mt Dew!

His stomach probably isn't so hot. Second time Fancy had teef pulled she took most of the same stuff and she wouldn't eat for a bit. She was mostly fine the first time. But I'm fairly certain Tony's a braver soul than my drama queen. He'll be rooing by tomorrow.

Poor boy! Glad he's got a handy Randy around for backyard ramp access.
