We got ours last year pretty early and it stayed up well past Christmas without issue. Obviously it wasn't suuuper green at that point, but still totally fine.

I guess when you think about it, the first shipments of trees for the commercial market are being harvested and packed now (or will be shortly). So not really all that different than cutting your own.

FYI. Fordyce Lake water release is being increased making crossing pretty much impossible.

Yep. It will also stay down until damn repairs are completed. Which means the flows will be low all next year once run-off season is done. So stoked.

I’m ready to give’r a go. Hopefully I get a chance next year.

My younger brother did it like 15 years ago in a samurai buggy on 40”s and said it was pretty fun.

    For sure.

I’d like a trip to moon rocks at some point also. I’ve wheeled there a handful of times and had a great time but not since the new rig.

We didn’t make it to the east side this year either. We’re still planning on a trip eventually and we’ll hit you up for that too.

I spotted a white 2.5 gen with front and rear fiberglass fenders on Cabrillo Ave (? I believe that was the street) in Santa Clara tonight.

Well, chalk one down for Wheel Works in Vallejo.

I sit here, in the lobby, listening to the tech bitch and moan about “this is the reason they shouldn’t offer lifetime alignments”. My toe is out and I’ve got a little camber goin on. I know this, I just finished putting the front end back together. I have the Firestone/WheelWorks/TiresPlus lifetime alignment. Firestone in Concord has always been good. But, I was toed in a bit too much to drive across the bridge for that. I called the WheelWorks in Vallejo and they said they could/would take care of it. And here I sit, with the salesman trying to tell me they shouldn’t be touching my truck. “But, since it’s already on the rack, we will do our best.”

    Great...

Im not usually one to whine about crap, but, c’mon.

Quick question. I may be getting a raw aluminum part for my bike, and wondering if anyone local has a source to get it anodized (?) for a decent price. I'm in Martinez, but wouldn't mind shipping or delivering it somewhere.

Not real local but Milners Anodizing in Santa Rosa does good work. Not sure What the price would be for a single part but might be able to get it in on a batch of other stuff if you want a basic color.

One of the many things wrong with this rental in EDH, one of the things I'd like to remedy are the garage door openers. It's a three car garage with a double on one side, and single on the other. The double car side only has one remote. The single side has none. Is there a way to program new remotes to existing openers?

You’ll have to look up the manual online for the programming process, if it even works.

I got the Chamberlain MyQ garage door system. It runs you through the process of programming it as another remote that you can control with your phone. Also sends you alerts when it opens and closes. (It was $17 during prime day)
