have you searched by entering different brand trucks? Our bed dimensions are not unique. Fords and GM's have the same or very close dimensions.

    First body shop I call.
"Oh, we don't do anything with Loya Insurance because they're hard to get the money from."
Guy said a lot of shops in the area won't do anything with Loya (his insurance Co.) because they take 6mo+ to get the money.

    fuuuuck me.

Guess I'm just gonna see if Allstate will waive the deductible and cover a rental.
If Loya is that bad that body shops don't want to work with them, I don't feel like I wanna work with them...

That's a bummer dude. We had Nationwide for our home insurance and they still haven't paid the roofing company, over a year later. We switched to State Farm, but the claim is still tied up with Nationwide...

Yeah, just gonna pay the deductible and hope I get it back eventually. :notsure:
Minimal damage to the ARB. Want to get it checked for nonvisible damage.. Maybe get a new bumper out of it? There are some pics a few pages back but it's just the plastic housing by one of the fog lights is cracked.

I would explain the situation. The shop may very well work cheaper with your insurance b/c they're "in network". If they know it's another insurance, they make do things differently...…..just a thought.

I would think they give Allstate a discount on labor/etc b/c of being "partners". If they know it's a different insurance that will ultimately pay.....they may charge differently and work with you on what parts you want replaced and what you're ok with keeping(and getting the cash for said parts)

The fact is, if he caused $1000 worth of damage. You should get the $1000 and if you choose to not replace the bumper.....so be it.

Oh yeah, if there isn't any nonvisible damage and the bumper is the only thing that needs to be replaced. I'd definitely prefer a check.

Hopefully it's just the bumper that got scratched. I'd still put in for the cost of a new one.

Oh yeah, even if it's just the bumper that's damaged, I'm putting for a new one. Or a check for a new one.
The plastic around the fog light is cracked and the only way I know of to replace that is to replace the whole bumper.

After tax and shipping, that bumper is at least $1,413.53 from Toytec.

Then I'd go with that. They can't choose where you get your parts from.
