Sure I can wait. Just some more to ponder....Surgeons in my area are making around $500K, some a lil more for neurosurgeons, orthopeds,.. And I'd venture a guess that a surgeons day is just a mite bit longer than a three hour football game. Add in the fact that non-essential "workers" are pulling in at least 120X what an essential (surgeons are kinda essential) worker is making, it's not hard to see why I might take umbridge at your comment. My wife is a nurse and works with surgeons all day as does my daughter who works in a neo-natal unit. Can surgeons be arrogant egotistical assholes. Absolutely. But, then I'm paying for their skills, not their glowing personality.

My surgeon did a great job on my hip replacement. I have no idea what his income is, nor do I care. He was an arrogant prick on the follow up visits, didn't answer a couple questions I had.

Thank you wife and daughter for me. Folks like them make a hospital stay much better.
