    Thanks everyone

That shot is the entrance, he was about 40 yards and I watched him fall about 60 yards away. No tracking and drove right to him

Also those 2 camera pics are the only 2 I have of him, he just showed up last week.

the hot weather has shut down deer movement here. couple scraps one guy was checking aint been touch. trail cam pics are all in the middle of the nite.only saw one doe all day yesterday. but there is a spot on a ridge with rock cliffs at the road. Nobody hunts it. impossible to get in and not bust everything out. we dont drive on our lease but do on this ridge just for fun. takes 1/2 hr. they run across the ridge and always circle back up a deep creek drainage. so two of us sit the creek and two walked the hill. heard em coming. two does came by at 40yds and then heard more. nice bear came in down at 20 yds but went to the road and up the ridge on the other side. best 15 minutes of the day. yal are getting so nice ones.

    Dawg will hunt.
He brought this in to camp the last morning of our season.
Guess he was tired of me not pulling the trigger on the small bucks and got his own fresh meat the night before.

Still waiting on my buck. He’s coming in almost every night now, but I can only hunt in the mornings before work right now, and won’t get to hunt the evening until next (not this coming) Sunday.

My dad went and sat in my tree last Saturday morning (again, I was working). It’s very close to my house. I woke up and was getting ready for work and heard a shot. I text and asked if it was him. He said “want to come help me drag?” I was glad he killed it, but still mad that it wasn’t me since I’ve been hunting him. Got down there and he had killed a smaller 7 and not the big 8. Said he saw the 8 and had his scope on him, but it’s really thick and it was still too dark to see if there were any branches to get in the way, so he let him walk In hopes he’d circle around and come back.

Also have another decent 8 on another spot I hunt. It’s just hard for me to go somewhere besides where the big guy is...
