Oh, interesting the accessories site only lists the soft cover, the hard cover had to be "ordered new" I thought.

 

You can in Canada, not in the USA. Go ask your dealer, they are probably selling you an aftermarket. You can order it in piece parts and it ends up being like over 2k.

 

It’s too big to ship fedex or ups without insane oversized shipping cost. You are better off using uship.

 

My dealer has had them special ordered, he gave me the option when I bought my second truck since my first one had one pre installed, they're not after market. But they cost a substantial amount. I said no this time, too rich for my blood. And I'm in the US.

 

Most likely a special order, you'll have to consult with your parts guy at the dealership.

 

He would have come back and told you not possible or sold you an aftermarket. Toyota will not sell the kit in the USA. I tried a lot of shit including contacting Toyota directly as have many people here to get one. You can drive across the border and get the kit though. I think Jeff said it was like 1k Canadian

They won't take it off another truck either because it is a VIN listed option.
