Heh, I've been looking around at any manual trans Tacos. There's a 2nd gen Sport Spruce Mica in KS for $30k.

I wanna submerge my own Taco.

I have an aversion to double cabs. I hate that single cabs are extinct in the mid size truck market. I guess there can't be a market for something they don't make though.

Curious, but the problem is I'm still on the hook for my current.

I like double cabs as I like being the driver in a group of family/friends, so I rather have the seating space available.

That's the one reason they're valuable to most people. However, I am not most people. I am an idiot and I want a shorter wheelbase, better power to weight ratio, a 6ft bed, The ability to say, "sorry, no room in the truck," manual windows, and I don't want my AC unit to come on when I turn on my windshield blower/ defroster.

The last one is unrelated to cab size. It just seems stupid that I'm not given the option. Why not just run it all the time? Why only on defrost? For those of you who say, "but it doesn't affect anything," come on over and I'll show you what a 4cyl AT feels like with it on, going up a hill with a couple passengers... I needed to get that off my chest. But seriously, why make a 4cyl truck more of a pregnant cow?

My 2nd reason is that double cabs also looks better than access and regular cabs. :D

I've noticed that too when I turn defrosters on, the A/C button lights up as well. A little annoying, but doesn't bother me that much, just click it off. I don't need a 6ft bed and I'm always happy to take on passengers. Love the automatic windows, 1 click press, woo!

Everyone's got their preference on cab size, so it ain't no thang to sweat. In the end, we all hate Honda Ridgelines and Jeeps, or something like that.

@Shellshock, you trading your Taco in for my Taco, once I take all the mods I can off? :D

Them's fightn' words. There's just no accounting for taste.

You have good points. And I'll concede all of them to you, just not for myself lol.

Also, hitting the AC button only turns the light off, not the compressor in my truck. I'm about to put a toggle switch in line with the AC clutch relay before this winter.
